Every paid plan carries unlimited workspaces, so pointing a purchase at one would mean selling the same thing many times over, and asking which space you meant before you buy describes a model that does not exist. You buy once, and every space you own runs on that plan.
A seat is one person with access, and you are one of them. A guest who can only reach a single project counts too, because they reach the workspace's data without being a member. Counting happens across the whole account rather than per space: somebody in any number of your workspaces is counted once, or you would be paying for how you organise your work rather than for people.
Each person beyond the plan's seats adds the price of that one person. You are told the moment you send the invitation rather than when somebody is stuck at the door: a pending invitation reserves its seat, so nobody accepts an invite only to hit a ceiling they were never shown.
No. A limit is a ceiling on adding, never a reason to take something away. A workspace whose plan has ended keeps every member and every file it has, and the only thing you cannot do is add the next person. The alternative, evicting people because an invoice expired, destroys work that was already done.
At checkout, through the gateway available in your region. You need no card to start, and the free plan never asks for one. If a gift code was issued to you, that is where you enter it, and the plan activates with nothing to pay.
A gift code IS a plan: the plan behind the code is activated and no money changes hands. A discount code takes money off the plan you chose yourself, and the rest is still paid at the gateway. They look alike from the outside and are deliberately kept separate, because what happens next is not alike at all.
Yes, and cancelling means «do not renew», not «take it away now». There is no refund to give back, so cutting the period short would simply destroy what you bought: it runs to its last day, and resuming renewal undoes the decision whenever you like.
No. Renewing early stacks onto what is left rather than restarting from today, so paying ahead never costs you days you have already bought. You hold one live plan at any moment, and activating a new one closes the previous one in the same transaction.
