Most of any surface is paper and white, text is ink, and charcoal is for the mark and the main action. Orange comes in sparingly and where it belongs: counters, badges, active states. Green and red are only for status, never decoration.

Why

Flow orange doesn't reach AA for normal text on any background; that's why orange is for emphasis in the brand too, not for body text. Text is always ink or white.
