A slider sets a continuous value by dragging: field width in Folio, audio playback position. A 6px track whose filled part is orange and an 18px knob; 8 and 24 on phones.

  • The slider is dir="ltr", even in Persian: the value grows from left to right like a number line, and the playback slider moves forward with time the same way.
  • aria-valuetext states the value in the person's language: “45 percent”, not “45”.
  • For an exact value, the slider isn't alone: Folio has numeric coordinates next to it.
